    Who knew‽ An accordionist from his youth, he also played piano, and had an affinity for vintage jazz. On what of his films did he play piano? Apparently, "Anatomy of a Murder" was one. So when he was in a scene with Duke Ellington, he really was sitting in, in the musicians' sense of the word. After all, he sat in with the Duke in some scenes. Why fake it when he can make it? I'd like to hear more about "Clinting" in his films. What a gas it must have been for him, playing with "Sir Duke" (to quote Stevie Wonder).

    We can all stop slavery today by keeping our names as women, not buying and supporting unethical governments that enslave people in China, letting the world know that Shitte law is sexists and it is gender slavery. End segregation by reaching out and being friends with people who are not the same color. Don't buy things from China, Korea, or other Countries that support slavery and demand economic justice. Transcend all hate and control of other human beings. We are all controlled by religion and our government. Buy your food from independent local farmers and buy things from individuals not corporations. We have enough stuff already.

  • @cleopatraduncan2124
    @cleopatraduncan2124 8 років тому

    Wouldn't creating a separate space just for one race be segregation? Someday our children's children will look upon our generation and find our acts immoral, just as we look back on slavery as immoral. The sad thing is that there is real slavery going on right now and we aren't even fighting for human rights today. The chinese government enslaves large portions of their people. Slavery is an economic capitalization of labor. It is not a new idea and all races are guilty of slavery at one point or another. The distinction of skin color was used to justify it, but it all comes from greed. I don't think we should honor this person who used these means to justify slavery. However, we should also remember that the slaves were purchased from tribes who enslaved each other. The Romans enslaved everyone. What about women who suffer under shitte laws, if a man owns a woman that is slavery too. Even marriage is an institution of slavery and the certificate is the proof of ownership. Printed on the same paper as slavery certificates and even taking the same name. It's ownership. We don't own our children, we don't own our wives. If you really want to get technical, slaves often took the last names of their owners, just like women take on a man's name. Change your last name in honor of your ancestors and fight for the rights of all humans and all races for true freedom. Start with ISIS and their male dominated religion used to control women. Start with people being enslaved by unjust governments like China and Africa.

    What impacts Black progress more? The fact that 73% of black children are born out of wedlock, or the scary mysterious white boogie man holding them back? Looks like one demon is fictional and the other is all too real.

    Every time these BLM folks evoke MB, they just lose more and more credibility. The policeman was cleared by Holder's investigation. If that investigation and the Obama administration could not pin solid evidence or even make something up to support the whole "hands up" thing, why are they still using it. It is completely discredited. Is there not a better line they could use based on real fact? I am angry at all of this stuff on campuses lately as it makes me feel like Archie Bunker or at least have empathy for him. Oh well. This is the new new. Welcome to 21st century America.

    Yeah that campus is so depressing. Eating clubs are all prissy and stupid. Ivy Leaguers are so embarrassing. Seriously, institutionalized ed is crumbling in favor of independent scholarship for obvious reasons. Paying 40K a year for school is just insane. It's actually sad.
